Also I currently live in Colorado in the US, and I still don't know anyone here, and my extroverted mind is slowly crumbling away into misery <3.

Its 12:42 am, its 42 degrees out, I am 18 years old, and I still pick up worms off of the sidewalk and return them to the grass.
The sidewalk shone with rainwater, and my limbs were heavy with tiredness. I was on my way home when I saw a worm twisting slowly on the concrete. I knelt down and gently pulled him up with my fingers, and placed him in the grass. The cold dew stained grass. And there I left him.
I hope that when have spent 34 years on this earth, that I still pick up worms.
If I do not, I will have lost something in my soul.

Long at last I stand in my native soil. Tis only now that my paths lie elsewhere that the air, though thick with humidity, seems so sweet. I never thought that I would miss the very trees that stretch their crowns to the sky or the simple color of the grass that cloaks the rolling hills.
I've been here barely long enough for a single breath, but alas, it seems my name is already being called in another land...
